Your privacy is very important to us. CappuPoochie.com is owned and operated by CO2 Consulting Group, Inc., and CappuPoochie is a free collectible card game, and this page says what we collect, why, who can see it, and what we do not do.

Our promise

Any information you give us is kept in confidence. We do not sell, rent or share your email address or other personal information with anyone without your consent, except as described below to run the service, or where the law requires it.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, which is your login, a password, and a screen name. We ask you to confirm your email before you can trade or sell.
• Your play. Your collection and the history of each card, your Credits and Biscuits, trades and Market listings, messages, scores, achievements, streak and settings. This is what makes it a game.
• One IP address a day. The first IP address you visit from each day is logged on your account, so an administrator can check whether several accounts share one connection. Only administrators can see it.
• Messages you send us. Anything you write on the Support page is stored and emailed to us, along with the email address on your account so we can reply.
• Profile notes. If your profile wall is on, collectors who follow you and whom you follow back can leave you a short note. You can turn the wall off, remove any note, and an unfollow removes that collector's notes.
• Server logs. Like any website, our web server records each request, including the IP address, the page asked for, the time and the browser. We use these to keep the site working and to spot abuse.

Cookies

The game sets three cookies. Two of them, named login and session, keep you signed in for up to twelve months. The third, named cookon, only records that your browser accepts cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

To run the game and keep it fair, to send the emails you need (confirming your email, resetting a password, changing your login, and replying to you), and to read what you tell us so we can fix things. The site shows no ads.

Who can see what

Your screen name, level, score and collection are visible to other collectors, on leaderboards, set pages and when trading. Your email address and IP address are not. Profile notes can be read by the people your wall allows.

Other services

• Ko-fi. The PRO membership and tips are handled on Ko-fi, an outside service. Ko-fi and its payment processors handle your payment details, and we never see your card number. To switch PRO on, we use the email address you tell us you joined with.
• Amazon. Some set pages link to the book a set came from on Amazon. When you follow one of those links, Amazon's own privacy policy applies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
• Etsy. CappuPoochie merch is sold in an Etsy shop and printed and shipped by a print partner. Orders are handled by Etsy and that partner under their own policies, and we do not pass your game account details to them.
• Hosting and email. The site runs on a hosting provider, and the emails above are sent through the server. Those providers have their own privacy policies for data on their systems.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have your account retired, write to us through the Support page. A retired account's login and collection are taken out of the game and moved to a backup, and its cards go back into circulation through the sets' chests.

Children

CappuPoochie is for people who are 13 or older, and signing up includes confirming that you are. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child under 13 has an account, write to us through the Support page and we will retire it.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
