Czech Republic

The flag is Bohemia's old white-over-red, with a blue triangle added at the pole when Czechoslovakia formed in 1918 to keep it from being mistaken for Poland's. When the country split in 1993, Slovakia took a new flag and the Czech Republic kept this one.
