Lapis Lazuli Wyrmling
Lapis lazuli is not one mineral but several bound together, mainly blue lazurite with flecks of gold-colored pyrite. The finest deposits come from Afghanistan, mined there for at least 6,000 years and traded across the ancient world to Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome.
