Emerald Dragon

Emerald is a green variety of the mineral beryl, colored by traces of chromium or vanadium. Despite ranking a respectable 7.5 to 8 in hardness, emeralds break more easily than many harder gems because of the internal fractures and inclusions nearly all of them carry.
