Amethyst Drake
Amethyst is simply quartz colored purple by trace iron and natural irradiation inside the crystal. It was once ranked alongside diamond, ruby, emerald and sapphire as one of the five cardinal gems, a status it lost only after huge deposits were found in Brazil in the 1700s.
