Crude Longsword
The medieval longsword, around a meter and a quarter long, could be used in one hand or two. Fencing manuals about it survive from the 1300s and 1400s, including Fiore dei Liberi's, written in 1409. This Crude card is where every weapon starts. Three of the same weapon merge into the plain version, one rung up.
