Credits, Biscuits, supplies and your Collector Score
Credits
Credits are the money for cards. They arrive every hour, whether you are here or not, and the rate depends on the zone your streak has you in: the beach pays the base rate, and each zone up pays more. The income banks for ten hours and then stops until you come back and collect it by logging in, so two visits a day collects everything and one visit collects most of it. There is also a ceiling on how many Credits you can hold; once you are there, hourly income is lost until you spend some. Nobody needs more than that.
Credits cannot be bought, traded, or given away. They are spent on packs, in each set's store, and on supplies, in the Market. The games in Laila's Arcade do not take Credits; they run on Biscuits. The one exception is the Latte Lotto, a Credits ticket once a day.
Biscuits
Biscuits are the arcade's money, and a dog bone is their mark. Every 10 points of Collector Score you earn mint one Biscuit: a pack ripped, a card donated, a set finished, a card graded, a trade made. The games take Biscuits and pay Biscuits, and now and then a pack. Biscuits cannot be bought, traded or given away, and they never buy packs, so there is no way to turn a lucky spin into cards. They do buy supplies: every supply in the Market has two prices, Credits or twice as many Biscuits, and you pick which to spend. The jar holds 2,000 Biscuits from experience; once it is full, experience mints no more until you spend some. Prizes from the games can still go over. Your Biscuits are on your profile under Level, and in the bar at the top of every arcade page. The Biscuits page lists every one minted and spent.
Supplies
The Market sells four things, in singles and in packs, with a discount for the box. All four are supplies, not cards, and they do not trade. Every one has two prices side by side, Credits and Biscuits, and the Biscuit price is twice the Credit price: a grading kit is 30 Credits or 60 Biscuits.
- Sleeves, the cheapest thing in the store, halve any damage a card takes.
- Top loaders cut the chance of damage.
- Grading kits send a card to SLAB for grading, sleeve and loader for the trip included.
- Streak Freeze cards cover one missed day each. You can hold three.
Your balances sit in the bar at the top of every page. When one hits zero it says Buy more and links to the Market, and a button that needs a supply you are out of tells you so before it tries.
Collector Score
Your Collector Score is a running total of what you have done, in whole points, and it only goes up. It is on your profile card, and every 10 points mint a Biscuit for the arcade. Points come from:
- Every card that comes out of a pack, one point each.
- Credits spent in the Market, a fraction of a point per Credit.
- Grading a card.
- Reaching a new zone, once per zone.
- Donating a card, a point or a few by rarity, and merging for one.
Levels
Your level comes from your score. Each level needs more points than the last, growing steadily up to a cap where every further level costs the same. Reaching a level pays a Credit reward once, larger for higher levels, and the profile card shows the score needed for the next one. Levels carry no perks yet; the number is the reward.
