Four sources, one standard
A CappuPoochie set starts with a source of content and ends as a set of cards: chosen, cropped, numbered, given rarities, framed and printed into packs. The source changes from set to set. The care doesn't. Every set is curated, the same way a photographer keeps one shot from a hundred: images are picked, weak ones are cut, and the rest are worked on until they are right.
Artist-submitted sets
Sets made by working artists, one to one, such as Euchre Cards, Alchemy and World Flags. Artists never pay to take part, and there are no paid packs: their work goes into the game the same way every other set does. At their request, an artist gets a profile page listing their sets, their website and their social media.
Public-domain art
Classic illustrated books, prints and paintings whose copyright has run out, from Tenniel's Alice and Denslow's Wizard of Oz to Swainson's birds and Waterhouse's paintings. We find the best scans, clean and crop them, and credit the original artist on the set.
Free-licence art (CC0)
Art its makers have released under CC0, the Creative Commons "no rights reserved" licence, so anyone can use it for any purpose, including commercially, without giving credit. We find it on a number of sites, and we credit the artist by name on the set anyway.
AI content
Sets whose images are AI content, curated like any other: generated, reviewed, cut, redone and refined. The card design around them is no different from any other set: the CappuPoochie team designs every set, so they all share one look and feel. Not into AI content? You can simply hide it in your Options. There is plenty more to collect.
